Young King New Castle

A series of 21 images published in issue 8 of DUST Magazine. Reflecting on the theme of construction and destruction, De Potter creates a visual story about belonging and settling. Within the rough montages and cut- up photographs motifs like hardware, cables, hammers and other utensils appear. Abandoned rooms, empty streets and derelict houses are the backgrounds for his silent figures. Still, the predominant feeling is a delicate and romantic one.
