Room & Book, An Art Book Fair

In 2014 I was invited by Gregor Muir, then Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, to co-direct a new book fair together with publisher and art collector Charles Asprey. The title ‘Room&Book’ was inspired by the British artist Paul Nash. The fair brought together book dealers from the UK, US, Europe and Japan all to create the ‘best bookshop in the world’. Participants included Bookmarc, Louis Vuitton, Koenig, Sims Reed and November Books. Special projects included Thurston Moore and Eva Prinz (Ecstatic Peace Library). Events included talks by artist Tauba Auerbach, photographer Mark Lebon and artist AA Bronson to name a few. Juergen Teller was commissioned to make a limited edition.
