Chopova Lowena-Kukeri

KUKERI

For their most recent collection, fashion brand Chopova Lowena crashed together two strands of inspiration: the ‘Kukeri’ costumes worn by men during Surva, an annual folk festival in Bulgaria and 1980s wrestling apparel.
Charlotte Wales photographed the collection and, together with art director Jamie Reid, asked Lucy to consult on layout, sequencing and writing for a book.

Kukeri was published in June 2018 in an edition of 400 copies.
